MySmartBlinds Alexa Integration

How to Link MySmartBlinds to Alexa using your Smart Phone - Apple or Android

On an iOS - Apple Phone

1. Install the Amazon Alexa mobile app

a. Open the app store on your mobile device
b. Search for "Amazon Alexa"
c. Select Install
d. Select Open

2. With the Amazon Alexa app open, Tap More in the bottom right-hand corner.
3. From the list of options press "Skills & Games".
4. Tap on the Magnifying Glass in the top right corner.
5. Search, "MySmartBlinds".
6. Click on "MySmartBlinds" and press the "Launch" button.
7. Sign in to your MySmartBlinds account.
8. Once successfully logged in, you should see a screen letting you know Alexa & your MySmartBlinds account are now linked.
9. See MySmartBlinds Voice Commands below for voice command prompts.

 

On an Android Phone

1. Install the Amazon Alexa mobile app

a. Open the play store on your mobile device
b. Search for "Amazon Alexa"
c. Select Install
d. Select Open

2. With the Amazon Alexa app open, Tap More in the bottom right-hand corner.
3. From the list of options press "Skills & Games".
4. Tap on the Magnifying Glass in the top right corner.
5. Search, "MySmartBlinds".
6. Click on "MySmartBlinds" and press the "Launch" button.
7. Sign in to your MySmartBlinds account.
8. Once successfully logged in, you should see a screen letting you know Alexa & your MySmartBlinds account are now linked.

Below is a list of supported words that are commonly used in commands. For example, a you could say a phrase that has the same basic structure in several different ways (filler words in ​bold):
